Guly Sabahi

Guly Sabahi is a Senior Advisor, Climate Finance, at the NDC Partnership. Guly Sabahi provides strategic advice and thought leadership to the climate finance efforts of the NDC Partnership, and engages with governments, institutions, investors, and other climate finance stakeholders – to facilitate investments in climate mitigation and climate adaptation to implement NDCs in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and LAC regions. Previously, Guly has spent 20 years in the private sector, including as a law firm partner at Dentons and a senior executive at Khatib & Alami  – focusing on equity and debt financing transactions and projects in energy and infrastructure sectors in emerging markets.  Over the years, Guly has also led the ILI’s capacity building programs for government officials, spearheaded the AIEN’s sustainability taskforce, and contributed to the thought leadership on energy transition, PPPs, international JVs infrastructure finance and investments in emerging markets, and ESG.
