
Jim Gross is a Senior IT Consultant at the Emerging Markets Investors Alliance.
Since shortly after he retired from full-time employment in 2016, Jim has volunteered as a Salesforce Non-Profit Success Pack (NPSP) developer/administrator and IT generalist with small non-profit organizations. He has several decades’ experience in business information technology solutions as a software engineer, team lead and project manager specializing in business applications. He spent 17 years with Public Service Enterprise Group (PSE&G) where he designed solutions to a variety of applications problems and managed various IT projects. Before that, Jim held IT software engineering positions with financial firms (Dean Witter, Morgan Stanley, EAB) and, vendors serving financial firms (Stratus Computer, NCR, Seer Tech) and he taught database systems and COBOL programming at Pace University. Jim was also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) for several years, has a masters’ degree in IT systems management with a certificate in project management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a BA in Sociology from New York University.
Jim earned a B.A. in Sociology from New York University and a Master’s Degree in IT systems management with a certificate in project management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
