Eduardo Atehortua is an Economist from the EAFIT University in Medellín and specialist in geopolitics from the same University. She has a Master's Degree in Sustainable Development and Corporate Responsibility from the School of Industrial Organization (EOI), Madrid, Spain. She has experience and a special interest in promoting responsible and impact investing in Latin America.
He began his career at Deloitte where he helped create the sustainability and climate change services area.
He worked between 2018 and 2023 as Director for Latin America of the Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI), a global initiative that promotes the implementation of best practices in responsible investment. During this period, he supported more than 100 funds in the region to develop strategies that allow them to incorporate Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ASG) criteria in their investment decision-making.
He currently works as a Partner in the area of sustainability and climate change at Deloitte.
