Fergus McCormick is Senior Advisor and former Director of Sovereign Research at EMIA. He is also Chief Economist at Prosera, where he advises multinational corporations on macro risk, supply chain resilience, and geopolitical disruption. His work focuses on how macro shocks translate into sovereign and corporate risk.

He previously served as Chief Economist at BILL, and as Chief Economist and Head of Sovereign Ratings at Morningstar DBRS. Earlier in his career, he held economist and strategist roles at Morgan Stanley, Bear Stearns, Fitch Ratings, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

He is a member of the Bretton Woods Committee and has consulted for the IMF and World Bank.
