John Greenwood

John is co-head of Project, Infrastructure and Principal Finance. He oversees the firm’s origination, structuring, principaling and risk management activities for structured and project finance transactions across the infrastructure, power, energy and quasi-sovereign sectors, primarily in Latin America. John serves on the Goldman Sachs Hispanic/Latino Recruiting Committee and the Investment Banking Division Summer Program Diversity Champions Council. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2015 as a managing director.

 

Prior to joining the firm, John led the LatAm Structured Debt Group in the Capital

Markets Origination Division at Citigroup. Before that, he worked at Merrill Lynch.

John serves on the Advisory Board for the Reves Center for International Studies at the College of William & Mary. 

 

John earned a BA in International Political Economics, summa cum laude, from the College of William & Mary and a master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
